Made by students, Pest’Off is an FPS where you’ll take aim at a variety of mutant pests. Take on contracts, take out the infestation, take in some cash. “For a student game, this game contains everything a player would want if they want to play a PVE FPS,” reads one Steam review.

Upcreek
If there are no parks near you (or perhaps it’s just too damn cold outside to visit one), but you still want to enjoy the relaxing feeling of walking through nature, check out Upcreek. It’s a short and sweet walking simulator where you’ll clean up a forest-filled park. It advertises a “a wide open physics sandbox,” so go hog wild.

Bird Watching Simulator
Keep the cozy vibes going with Bird Watching Simulator. Just about everything you need to know is right there in the title: it’s a relaxing sim where you’ll grab your binoculars and get eyes on some birds. You can also scare birds, complement them, or catch them and take them home.

Smile More
If cozy games aren’t your vibe and you want something creepier, Smile More is the horror game for you. You’ll perform surgery on patients to close wounds or fix broken bones, but the main objective is to fix their faces to make them smile more. Only download this one if you have a strong stomach.

Kila: Hourbound
Kila: Hourbound is a 3D action platformer. You’ll utilize time-based powers in combat and exploration; rewinding through time is essential in every mission. It’s another student-made game, crafted by over two dozen graduate students from SMU Guildhall in only four months.
